DESIGN:

The trek is a true slide less design for a real all season capability. The slide is replaced by a row of wheels for improved reliability. The main bearing has grease zerks to grease for mud driving to remove excess water and mud. The bogey wheels are 1.5 inches wide compared to ½ or ¾ of most other competitors and have two 20 mm bearings to keep the wheels in line with the tracks. The tracks are 11.5 inches wide with 1.25 inches tall lugs in a v-bar mud tread design. The RTS system for removing the tracks is great although I never see it possible for anyone ever loosing a track with this design. Also the internal drive system, which has proven to be the future of all track systems. This product is built by Saucy in Canada that makes tracks for the military and has done a lot of research on this and it looks like a winner.

SPEED:

This is a gear-reduced system so you will loose 20 to 25% of top end speed. The low-end torque will be great if you are in mud or deep snow.

STEARING:

This is one of the latest designs and will steer as easy as the other newer designs.

INSTALLATION:

This system comes with 4 tracks assembled and you have to install the mounting hardware on your machine. This will take approximately 2 hours the first time after that 45 minutes to 1 hour to remove or reinstall.

MY OPINION.

This is probably the most overbuilt track system out there. With the steel frame and the double bearings and no slide and also the main bearing you can grease I see this track lasting forever. I have no experience with these in deep snow as I am receiving them before this winter so I do not no if it will go as far in real deep powder snow as the wide track but a lot of my customers think 2 feet is deep. I would say it would go within 5 or 10% of the wide track. This system has a very solid rear anti-rotation system similar to a drag bar on a hot rod and you will never have to worry about this ATV going back words on you when climbing a steep hill. We will have them available for most UTV’S also.
