Can Camso track systems be transferred to a different vehicle?

June 14, 2019

Gary is talking with Francois Jean, the nationwide powersport representative for Camso (formerly Camoplast Solideal). Both Gary and Francois have been selling track systems for 14 years, so they are both very knowledgeable about the products.

Gary notes that track systems from Camso can be put onto any machine. Buying kits for Yamaha or Polaris means the tracks fit ONLY the machines from those companies. Camso’s tracks can be transferred to any machine. For example, you can remove the hub from a 2009 Tatou 4S and replace it with a new hub. Camso is very smart about their designs.

Francois says that people don’t want to buy a track kit for only one year. Customers want to keep their track systems over a period of time, and they may change their ATVs several times. That’s why you can have a 10-year-old Tatou track system and make it fit on a new 2019 Can-Am ATV by simply changing parts. It’s very important as a consumer that, when you invest in a track kit, you can keep it for a very long time.

Gary points out that Camso’s parts are reasonably priced. A part on a different machine may cost $80 at another distributor but ATVTracks.net will sell the same part for $39.
